RUW Staff Orientation for AY 2017-18

Royal University for Women (RUW) launched its new academic year by holding its annual staff orientation programme on the 13th of September 2017, at the RUW campus. The orientation day witnessed the attendance and participation of more than 90 members from the academic and administration staff of the university. The orientation day started with a welcome speech from Prof.Mazin Jumaah, President of Royal University for Women wherein he welcomed the returning employees and welcomed the new members to the RUW team. The speech was followed by presentations from the Academic Vice President, the Student Affairs Manager, Human Resources Manager, Director of Administration, Director of Quality Assurance, the Finance Manager and International Affairs Officer.

The presentations covered a range of subjects including the programmes, policies and services at RUW and the required standard expected from RUW representatives. In addition, the Director of the Office of Student Affairs outlined the OSA plans and activities for AY 2017-18 as well as the student conduct and role of the colleges.

Royal University for Women faculty draws strength from their diversity and experience, thriving on challenges, and are committed to imparting both knowledge and character. RUW students are encouraged to explore their fullest potential, test the limits of their creativity and talent, and reinforce their confidence and individuality.

The orientation day concluded with a tour, for the new staff members, of the residence halls, state of the art labs and classrooms, exhibition halls, auditoriums, sports center, and supporting facilities.
