QAAU ISO 9001:2015 Awareness Workshop by AJA Registrars Bahrain

In preparation for the planned transition of RUW Quality Management System from ISO 9001:2008 to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard, QAAU hosted a workshop in collaboration with AJA Registrars Bahrain on 22nd January 2017.
The workshop was attended by Managers and representative staff from the Administrative Departments operating under the scope of the ISO standards. During the workshop, attendees were educated about the differences between the current standard and the new standard to be implemented, and the methods used to identify, assess and evaluate Risks and Opportunities within the various contexts of the departments have been thoroughly explained.
In this regard, RUW is anticipating to fully implement the ISO 9001:2015 standard by the end of the current Academic Year 2016-17, and this workshop was one of the initial footsteps taken to undergo the comprehensive transition process.
