Royal University for Women and the Northern Municipal Council signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Counductung Scientifc Research

Royal University for Women and the Northern Municipal Council signed a  Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) through which the Northern Municipal Council will  benefit from the research capabilities and expertise of the students professors and use it as a means to conduct research of interest to the local community and as a way to study solutions and developments that will benefit the local community and the Kingdom of Bahrain . The MoU was signed at the Royal University for Women campus in Riffa by the President of the Royal University for Women Prof.Mazin Jumaah and Northern Municipal Council Chairman Mr.Mohammed Buhamoud. 

Reflecting on the agreement, Royal University for Women President Prof.Mazin Jumaah stated "the university is dedicated to pursruing academic research and serving the local community and the Kingdom in every possible way and using academics and throuough studies to produce high quality results that can be effective and useful " in addition Prof. Jumaah emphasized that the cooperation with the Northern Municipal Council in conducting research that focus on different topic and fields will be of the ultimate benefit for both  parties .

In his part, Northern Municipal Council Chairman Mr.Mohammed Buhamoud, lauded the Royal University for Women for taking this step and for the ease and cooperation in signing this agreement. He also confirmed the signing of the MoU as vital in conducting research and that the selection of the Royal University for Women came as a result of the reputable reputation of the university and its adherence to providing the best quality of education and research. Mr.Buhamoud stressed the benefit of the agreement in serving the Kingdom of Bahrain and encouraged the faculty and students of Royal University for Women to continue their high level of work and stated his optimism  for the research that will be generated as a result of the agreement,.

This was supported by the Manager of Administrative Services at the Northern Municipal Council Mr. Mahmoud Al Afia as he reiterated that the selection of the Royal University for Women as a partner to the Northern Municipal Council due the university’s ties to the community and interest in solving local issues, aswell as the need of the Northern Municipal Coundil to draw upon the work of the scientific research of the academic assets to achieve accurate and beneficial studies that will ultimatley aid in the development of the local community and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
