RUW President Interviewed by Gulf Intelligence

The President of the Royal University for Women, Professor Yusra Mouzughi, participated in an interview with the Gulf Intelligence, a strategic consultancy Group in the field of energy and natural resources. This interview came as a part of a series of interviews organized by the group with leaders in the field of knowledge and energy, under the title "Building a Gulf National Oil of the Future”.

During the interview, Professor Yusra Mouzughi highlighted many aspects that affiliates with knowledge Management in the Gulf economy based on her accumulated experiences in the academic field. She also highlighted the transformation in the Gulf economy that is based on its core of the knowledge economy and how the COVID-19 pandemic affected that transformation.

Professor Mouzughi emphasized the role that women play in the knowledge economy and their effective participation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the Arab Gulf region as well as their efforts in the economic construction of countries. The interest in women active role in building the economy of the societies was increased and the evidence of that is the role of the Royal University for Women as an institution dedicated to empowering and advancing women through higher education.

Professor Mouzughi also emphasised the efforts made in the field of women's advancement in the Kingdom of Bahrain through various aspects such as education, economy and society that are led by the Supreme Council for Women under the presidency of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King.

This interview came as part of the series of interviews conducted, with the support of various bodies, including Aramco in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ADNOC Group in the United Arab Emirates, Vitol, Mashreq and others.
