The Quality Assurance & Accreditation Unit (QAAU) was established in 2007. The focus of this unit is threefold; firstly to develop the University’s framework for quality management and its implementation of practices that ensure continuous quality improvement for both Administrative and Academic sectors.

Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit
Fatema joined the Royal University for Women as a Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit Officer in January 2022. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration at RUW. Fatema is also a CQI-IRCA certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001:2015 and has earned a Leadership certification from Pearson.
In her role at RUW, Fatema provides operational support for the implementation of quality assurance and accreditation processes, contributing to both institutional and college-level reviews locally and internationally. She is responsible for managing the document control register, maintaining the central repository for college and committee minutes, and implementing mandatory MR procedures.
