Kuwait Cultural Office visits Royal University for Women
Royal University for Women (RUW) hosted a delegation representing the Kuwait Cultural Office in Kingdom of Bahrain in its campus in West Riffa. The purpose of this visit included the aim to follow up on collaboration between RUW and Kuwait in many aspects, such as: recognition, partnership with Kuwaiti universities, cultural events as well as strengthen the academic cooperation between the Royal University for Women and the Ministry of Higher Education in State of Kuwait.
The delegation included Prof Abdullah AlKandari, Head of Cultural Office, Ms. Manal Khalil and Mr. Abd Al Hameed from Cultural Office.
The Acting President of the Royal University for Women, Dr. David Stewart, welcomed the Kuwaiti Cultural Office delegation and praised the deep relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait. Dr. Stewart also appreciated the efforts of the Cultural Office in supporting the students and the educational sector in both countries. The delegation also met the senior management, Deans, and Directors of the various departments.
The Acting President of the Royal University for Women briefed the Kuwaiti Cultural Office representatives on the achievements and milestones of Royal University for Women referring to its accreditations locally and internationally, and recognition by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as in Kuwait (for majors offered by the College of Business and Financial Sciences) and Oman. The delegation also met the Kuwaiti students who are studying at RUW in different majors.
