MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Entry requirements for the postgraduate programme
Applicants to the MBA programme are required to fulfill the following requirements:
Degree requirements:
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any business and management-related discipline.
Applicants with a university degree in a discipline outside of business and management may be accepted to register for the programme, based on an evaluation of their past work experience and its reference to the content of the programme and the successful completion of assigned prerequisite courses.
CGPA requirements
Applicants should have a CGPA ≥ 2.5 or its equivalent. Applicants with a CGPA lower than 2.5 and higher than 2.0 can be registered, subject to passing the interview and the successful completion of assigned prerequisite courses.
Interview requirement
All applicants must pass an interview, where necessary prerequisites may be assigned.
Language requirements
- Applicants should have a satisfactory level of English proficiency, which is defined as follow: IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL Paper based 550, Computer based 210; Internet based 78 or an equivalent score in the RUW English language test.
- If applicants do not fulfill the required level of English proficiency, they will be required to take the following English Foundation courses offered at RUW as follows:
For IELTS overall band score between 5 and 5.5:
EMP 501 - English Composition.
For IELTS overall band score below 5:
EMP 500 - English for Academic Purposes EMP 501 - English Composition.
For IELTS overall band score of 4 or below:
EMP 500 - English for Academic Purposes
EMP 501 - English Composition.
plus advance English courses outside the university or English for Academic Success Programme Level 2 (EAS 2).
