BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ARCHITECTURE

Entry Requirements

 ·       Show evidence of having successfully completed Secondary Education or its equivalent in the Kingdom of Bahrain or overseas, attested by the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain (MoE).

·        Show evidence of a minimum level of English Language Proficiency, the following are examples of internationally accredited tests of English Language with the corresponding levels of proficiency required by RUW:

o   ELTS overall band score of 5.5, or

o   TOEFL: paper-based 513; or Computer-based 183; or Internet-based 65, or

o   RUW English Placement Test overall band score of 5.5.

·       If the applicant fails to meet the English language requirement mentioned above, she will be required to enrol in the RUW English Orientation Programme.

·       Applicants to the Bachelor of Science in Architecture programme should come from the science track in high school, with a minimum average score of 60% in mathematics in high school (grade 12).

·       Applicants who do not satisfy this criterion are required to take a compulsory LAR course in mathematics during the first semester in the college.

·       All documents included with an application for admission become the property of RUW and are retained in the students’ file until graduation.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN DIGITAL MEDIA AND INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY 

Entry Requirements

 ·       Evidence of having completed Secondary Education successfully or its equivalent in the Kingdom of Bahrain or overseas, attested by the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain, with a major in science.

·       A minimum level of English Language Proficiency:

o   IELTS overall brand score of 5.5, or

o   TOEFL: paper-based 513; or

o   Computer-based 183; or Internet-based 65; or

o   RUW English Placement Test with an overall band score of 5.5.

·       If the applicant fails to successfully provide the above, then she would be required to enroll in the RUW English for Academic Success Programme.

·       A minimum average score of 60% in Mathematics in Grade 12. If you do not satisfy this criterion, you must take a compulsory course in mathematics during the first semester.

·       All documents included with an application for admission become the property of RUW and are retained in the students’ file until graduation.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY 

Entry Requirements

 Applicants to the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology programme are required to fulfill the following requirements:

 ·        Show evidence of having successfully completed Secondary Education or its equivalent in the Kingdom of Bahrain or overseas, attested by the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain (MoE).

·         Show evidence of a minimum level of English Language Proficiency, the following are examples of internationally accredited tests of English Language with the corresponding levels of proficiency required by RUW:

o   ELTS overall band score of 5.5, or

o   TOEFL: paper-based 513; or Computer-based 183; or Internet-based 65, or

o   RUW English Placement Test overall band score of 5.5.
